Invercargill Public Art Gallery has several pieces of furniture and memorabilia from the original family estate, all which can be viewed by the public. 

The carpet on the stairs is the original carpet that was laid in 1925Left: The Chaise Longue was part of the original furniture in the Anderson Home. In 1992 it was gifted back to the Gallery by Kathleen Kirkby, the younger daughter of Sir Robert and Lady Anderson. Right: Original leather lounge suite that sat in the Billiard Room of the Anderson Home.  The suite still sits in the same location today.A display cabinet in the Anderson Room showcases a selection of Sir Robert Anderson's medals.
