The Gallery proudly holds a remarkable collection of over 1,000 pieces of New Zealand and international art, spanning from early to contemporary works. 

 

Our permanent collection features masterpieces by renowned New Zealand artists like Charles F. Goldie, Rita Angus, Colin McCahon, and Ralph Hotere, alongside contemporary talents such as Gregor Kregar and Alvin Pankhurst. In addition to paintings, the collection includes an extensive array of ceramics, carvings, sculptures, and mixed media works.
